Statement

WRITER: I have been published in both national and international publications. I have worked as a freelance writer/reporter covering family entertainment, travel, food, and human interest feature stories.

EDITOR: I am an editor of feature articles and business materials. I have several years’ experience in copy-editing, proofreading and content editing, including online editing. I was a grader/marker for the Faculty of Management, Communications, University of Manitoba.

OTHER: I am supervising my daughter in Independent Study for grade 12, 2009 – 2010. I completed the full-time CTESL (Certification for Teaching English as a Second Language) in December, 2009 at the University of Manitoba.

I home schooled my two children until fall 2008, up to grades 11 and 12. This included designing their curriculum, administering tests, correcting, and proofreading their work.
