Statement

I am passionate about making words sing with precision and beauty. In my 25 years as a writer, I have worked with various media. My journalism degree and newspaper work taught me to deliver clear, clean copy on deadline, while, as a magazine freelancer, I learned how to write to sell, and how to pace myself for longer pieces. Over the past six years I have also written and edited for the Web, which requires careful attention to how text looks on screen. With these skills, I welcome a variety of editorial assignments.
